- modify, copy, distribute, license, sell or redistribute any of your personal file information.
- store details of credit cards or other payment methods, as this is all done via a trusted third party, Paypal.

PAYMENTS |
|
|
- The Total Price consists of the cost of the apartment plus all taxes.
- Minimum stays are mainly for 2 nights, but can vary
depending on the apartment and time of year. Further details are
included next to the booking form.
- The cost of the apartment will not vary with the number of
people renting it. The maximum number of people that can rent the
apartment (excluding children under 2 years of age), is indicated by
the number of bed spaces indicated in the property description on this
website.
- Clients are requested to pay a 25% deposit as pre-payment, via this website, to secure the apartment on their required dates.
- The pre-payment will be refunded if a apartment cannot be secured for the client.
- Once payment has been received, the client will receive an
email confirmation containing all the reservation and payment details.
- On check-in, the client is to make a payment in cash (in
Euros) of the Total Price (less the 25% deposit paid) to the apartment
owner, together with a 55€ cleaning charge (or 60€ for apartments
larger than 60m2) and a security deposit of 200€ to cover potential
damages.
This deposit will be refunded by the apartment owner (or
representative) on check-out, after the premises have been inspected.
- An additional charge of 30€ will be made if check-in is outside the period 9am - 9pm

| CANCELLATIONS |
|
|
The client will be charged a
cancellation fee according to the schedule below. Refunds will not
be made for any other circumstance changes including flight
cancellations, reservation changes or acts of force majeure.
- 20% of the pre-payment if cancellation is made more than 60 days before the clients check-in date.
- 50% of the pre-payment if cancellation is made between 30 and 59 days before the clients check-in date.
- 100% of the pre-payment if cancellation is made within 29 days of the clients check-in date.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
|
|
|
- Check-in: The apartment owner (or representative)
will wait at the apartment to hand over the keys. Clients
should have ready, the balance of the Total Price due at this
time, together with the cleaning charge and security deposit (see
Payments section above)
- If the clients arrival has been delayed, it would be
appreciated if they could inform the apartment owner as soon as
possible, as they will be waiting at the apartment.
- Check-in is after 2pm on the day of arrival. This gives the
cleaners time to prepare the apartment, and allows for other guests to
leave the same day.
- Check-out is before 11am on the departure date.
- If flexibility around these times is required, clients should let us know, and we will try to accommodate.
- If luggage needs to be stored for a period after the
official check-out time, the client should speak to the apartment owner
on checking-in, and they will advise.
- An additional charge of 30€ will be made if check-in is outside the 9am - 9pm weekday period

| HONESTY & CODES OF CONDUCT |
|
|
- The client will ensure the accuracy of the agreement (all
fields: names, contact details, number of guests, ages etc) that they
have signed. Therefore, only the number of persons indicated by the
client in the agreement are authorized to use the apartment.
- Whoever signs the agreement will be liable for the conduct
of their accompanying party. Should that person, or any or any other
member of the party not behave in accordance with normal civic
standards, Med Nights shall be entitled to remove the entire party from
the apartment. There will be no reimbursements.
- These civic standards include not playing loud music or
having parties between 10pm and 10am. If neighbours complain, or
the police are called, it can result in an immediate eviction.
- As a courtesy, it would be appreciated if the client
switched off all electrical items in the apartment when not in use.
This helps to both conserve energy and for us to keep the apartment
prices low.
- For the clients safety, it is also suggested that the apartment door is locked when leaving the premises.
- When possible, it would be appreciated if smoking was done
outside the apartment, for both safety reasons and to provide a cleaner
place for future tenants. Please do not throw ash and butts outside the
window.

| PETS |
|

As is the norm with most rental apartments in Barcelona, we are sorry, but pets are not allowed in any of the apartments.
|
| COMPLAINTS AND LIABILITIES |
|
|
- Med Nights is not responsible
for occurring defects on materials/equipment in the apartment, for
electricity outages, for a water decrease or outage not directly caused
from it, for loss, damage or destruction because of weather conditions,
demonstrations, strikes, or other independent circumstances outside of
its control.
- Neither Med Nights nor the
apartment owner shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that
may arise as a consequence of inappropriate use of the apartment by the
client, including damages, insurance, losses because of fires,
robbery or criminal behaviour.
- All property details provided
on this website are provided by the apartments owners, and it is their
responsibility to ensure accuracy.
- All complaints must be
communicated in written form to us by e-mail and always during the stay
at the apartment. Complaints made after leaving the apartment will not
be considered.
- Med Nights , its contractors
and apartment owners, are not responsible for the content or the
privacy policies of other linked web sites.
